After-Hour Movers 11/14: Novastar (NFI) Sinks, Charlotte Russe (CHIC) Moves Higher

Novastar Financial Inc. (NFI) 36% LOWER; Reported a net loss available to common shareholders of $598.0 million, or $64.05 per fully diluted common share. May be delisted from NYSE.

Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHIC) 17% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.33, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenues for the quarter were $190.3 million, versus the consensus of $190.37 million.

Fuqi International, Inc. (Nasdaq: FUQI) 13.5% HIGHER; Revenues Increased 90% to $36.2 Million in 3Q07. 3Q07 Net Income Increased 200% to $2.7 Million, or $0.21 per Diluted Share

PetSmart (Nasdaq: PETM) 6% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenues for the quarter were $1.1 billion, versus the consensus of $1.12 billion.

Sina Corp. (Nasdaq: SINA) 6.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.32, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenues for the quarter were $64.3 million, versus the consensus of $64.57 million. Sina expects Q4 revenues to be between $68 and $70 million, versus the consensus of $69.56.

eDiets.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: DIET) 5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.10), 6 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.04). Revenues for the quarter were $6.8 million, versus the consensus of $7.25 million. The Company expects FY08 revenues of about $50 million, versus the consensus of $38.6 million.

CarMax Inc. (NYSE: KMX) 5% HIGHER; Warren Buffett Berkshire shows a 13,981,800 share stake.

Applied Materials (Nasdaq: AMAT) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.30 ($0.34 ex-items), versus the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenues for the quarter were $2.37 billion, versus the consensus of $2.3 billion.
