Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) is getting slammed today, is it the Cramer Effect? Chipotle is down over 7% today. On Jim Cramer\'s Mad Money TV, he made a convincing argument to sell Chipotle. He explained that the upside in Chipotle is limited because it\'s currently trading at two times its growth rate. He said, "when a stock gets to this level, you just have to sell because the risk-reward becomes awful."
He also noted that Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) is is a lot cheaper. He said if you plugged Chipotle\'s valuation into Google, the search giant would fetch a share price of $1200, making Google quite an attractive buy right now. Now, I\'m going to check if Google is higher today. Yep, it is trading up 9 points.
I must say that the The Cramer Effect is fully in tact and he now moves a stock more than the great, iconic Warren Buffet. Well, perhaps soon he\'ll be able to move the entire market or we\'ll just have to wait until future President Spitzer appoints him Secretary of Treasury.
