Citizens analyst Matthew Condon reiterated a Market Perform rating on Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX).
The analyst commented, "We maintain our Market Perform rating as Netflix searches for its next leg of growth. Netflix reported in-line 3Q26 results, with revenue growth decelerating to 11% Y/Y ex-FX, its slowest pace in nearly three years. Its outlook for FY26 was largely maintained, as stronger-than-expected subscription performance offset reduced advertising expectations due to product launch and integration delays. Stepping back, following Netflix’s decision to walk away from its acquisition of WBD, we believe investors continue to question what will drive its next phase of growth, particularly amid sluggish engagement and declining share of U.S. streaming time as competition for consumer attention intensifies. We believe more culturally resonant, must-watch programming could be a key driver to reaccelerating engagement growth. Against this backdrop, Netflix has made significant changes to its content leadership, including the departures of Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria and Head of Film Dan Lin."
