Kalvista Pharmaceuticals (KALV) Reiterated at Market Outperform by Citizens on Ekterly Sales

Citizens analyst Jonathan Wolleben reiterated a Market Outperform rating and $28.00 price target on Kalvista Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: KALV).

The analyst commented, "KALV reported 4Q25 Ekterly sales of $35M handily beating consensus at the time (~ $21M), with an impressive 1,318 start forms received representing ~11% of the U.S. diagnosed population. Management cautioned for a pull forward in demand that may impact 1Q26 growth beyond the typical 1Q seasonality so we wanted to run our first allergist survey to check on the underlying launch dynamics. Almost all of our checks came back positive supporting continued top-line outperformance, though the insurance process remains difficult, which we expect to improve over time. KALV shares are up ~29% YTD, and we believe we could see the stock level up again on the 1Q results as revenue expectations revise upward. We are not making any adjustments to our numbers today as we already model a strong 1Q result, with $45M in sales (vs. consensus of $38M). We have heard investors are looking for $40M+, which we think is achievable. For the year, we model 2026 Ekterly sales of $245M and expect a strong 1Q result will force consensus (currently $205M) upwards."
