Canaccord Genuity analyst William Plovanic lowered the price target on AtriCure Inc. (NASDAQ: ATRC) to $53.00 (from $64.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "ATRC reported Q4 revenue results in line with its January preannouncement and reiterated its previously issued 2026 guidance. Q4 revenue of $140.5M (+13.1% Y/Y) matched the early January preannouncement and compared with our prior $139.6M estimate and consensus of $139.3M (we subsequently updated our model to reflect the preannouncement and initial 2026 outlook). Q4 adjusted EBITDA was $19.9M, and the company had positive earnings for the first time in its history – with an outlook of more to come. The company continues to guide to FY26 revenue growth of 12%–14% Y/Y and EBITDA of $80M–$82M. Discussion on the call centered on ATRC’s core growth drivers, its ability to generate incremental operating leverage, and — importantly — its capacity to defend the AtriClip franchise amid expanding strategic MedTech competition from Edwards LifeSciences (EW-NYSE: $78.10 | HOLD Rated). We continue to view ATRC as well positioned from a defensibility standpoint, particularly given its demonstrated ability to withstand prior competitive entry from MDT. We reiterate our BUY rating and adjust our price target to $53 from $64, given comp group multiple compression."
