Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard reiterated a Neutral rating on Rivian Automotive Inc (NASDAQ: RIVN).
The analyst commented, "Rivian’s autonomy capabilities will be rolled out in phases, and prior to the implementation of Lidar into Rivian’s vehicles (we expect 3Q26 following R2 launch), Rivian will launch its Autonomy+ subscription for a one-time fee of $2,500 (or for $49.99/month). At this price point, which represents a significant discount to Tesla’s FSD priced at ~$8,000 (or $99/month), we expect Rivian can help boost customer demand and capture further market share stare. For the print, Visible Alpha consensus is expecting 4Q25 revenue of $1,278M, 4Q25 Gross Margin of ~2%, and 4Q25 Adj. EBITDA loss of ~($568M). On the call, we look for an update on the timeline for the upcoming launch of the R2 (SOP planned for 1H26E), which we see as the most material catalyst this year, and we also look out for the company's FY26 vehicle delivery outlook, which may be disclosed on this call. For FY26, Consensus is currently expecting 64,134 vehicles. RIVN will report 4Q25 on 2/12 and host its earnings call at 5PM ET."
