Stifel analyst Rick Wise reiterated a Buy rating and $670.00 price target on Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ: ISRG).
The analyst commented, "Delivering above-Consensus 4Q25 results inline with the January 14th 2026 pre-announcement, today's post-close, official and more-detailed ISRG earnings release also highlighted the company's compelling 2026 outlook. Intuitive clearly closed-out 2025 with excellent results. Revenues in the quarter at $2.87B (up ~19% y/y) exceeded Stifel/Consensus $2.72B and EPS at $2.53 were well-above Stifel/Consensus $2.24/$2.25 projections. Procedure growth at ~17% was also a touch higher than Stifel/Consensus 16.5%/16.3%. For 2026, Intuitive's financial guidance reminds us of the company's historical approach and philosophy...i.e. offering thoughtfully-prudent initial guidance that positions the company to potentially outperform…ISRG reiterated its 2026 13-15% procedure growth guidance range and provided additional margin and spending-related metrics. The company expects 2026 gross margins between 67-68%, operating expense spending to increase by 11-15%, and $355-$375 million in interest and other income (driven by the company's substantial ~$9B cash position)."
