Raymond James analyst Michael Rose raised the price target on PNC Financial (NYSE: PNC) to $245.00 (from $225.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst comments "We are reiterating our Outperform rating on PNC shares following 4Q25 results the exceeded our forecasts/consensus and where its initial 2026 outlook drives our EPS estimates higher (detailed below). In turn, shares are outperforming today where management sees a path to +3.00% NIM in 2H26, ~400 bp of positive operating leverage in 2026, and a ROTCE of ~18% at this time next year which it sees heading higher from there fueled by ongoing fundamental momentum and the benefits from its recently closed acquisition of FirstBank (link, link). Looking ahead, stronger revenue (both NII and fees), partially offsets higher noninterest expenses vs. our prior model to drive the increase in our EPS forecasts. As such, we continue to view risk-reward positively given ongoing fundamental momentum juxtaposed with a relative valuation that is more attractive than it has been in many years as can be seen in the valuation charts later in the report."
