Rosenblatt analyst Kevin Cassidy raised the price target on Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA) to $115.00 (from $100.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "Ambarella delivered another strong quarter as demand for its edge AI solutions continues to grow. A key driver of this momentum is the expanding and diversifying customer base, which is adopting more complex, higher-performance AI SoCs. This trend supports higher average selling prices for the company. We also see significant potential for Ambarella in the evolution of autonomous robotics. The company’s long experience in developing L2–L4 autonomous vehicle platforms positions it well to bring similar capabilities to robotics. Its SoC architecture, purpose-built for autonomous algorithms, offers leading-edge efficiency in performance, cost, and power consumption. With these strengths, we expect Ambarella to showcase its advancements at CES 2025. Reflecting this outlook, we are raising our estimates and increasing our price target to $115."
