Truist Securities analyst Mark Hughes lowered the price target on Kinsale Capital (NYSE: KNSL) to $510.00 (from $560.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: 'Raising Estimates, Trimming Target to $510 on Sector Valuations; We are increasing our 2025 EPS estimate to $19.20 from $18.65 and bumping up our 2026 outlook to $21.25 from $20.90, influenced by higher assumed net investment income, marginally faster growth in gross written premiums, and lower ceded premiums. We are trimming our price target to $510 from $560 based on recent pressure on valuations across the P&C space (Figure 1); this assumes KNSL maintains its forward P/E of 24x and appreciates with earnings growth. We maintain our view that Kinsale should be a long-term winner, even in a more competitive P&C market."
