H.C. Wainwright analyst Heiko Ihle raised the price target on 5E Advanced Materials (NASDAQ: FEAM) to $9.50 (from $7.50) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst commented: 'On October 14, 2025, 5E Advanced Materials (FEAM) announced the shipment of 20 tons of boric acid that had been produced from the Fort Cady project. Management also noted expectations of shipping an additional 1,000 pounds of boric acid for domestic boron carbide production later in the week. In short, we view this as a significant milestone for the firm as the site has advanced toward commercial production given China’s current dominance of the boron carbide supply chain. Going forward, we expect FEAM's boric acid to be assessed by potential customers for qualification, with use-cases spanning the energy, specialty glass, and defense sectors. Longer-term, successful customer validation could ultimately pave the way for offtake agreements while further de-risking FEAM’s transition into commercial production. We reiterate our Buy rating on FEAM as we increase our PT to $9.50 from $7.50. Our increased PT is driven by a slight decrease in our discount rate to 11.0% (prior: 12.0%) as the company continues to reach several critical milestones."
