Stifel analyst Jeffrey Stantial lowered the price target on Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) to $175.00 (from $180.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst comments "MTN reported a disappointing F4Q, with FY26 Resort Adj. EBITDA guidance introduced -2% below Consensus at the midpoint while updated Epic Pass sales were slightly below prior guidance (though anecdotally consistent with buyside whisper). MTN added further color on strategy changes under returning CEO & industry legend, Rob Katz, though emphasizing minimal financial impact until FY27+. We expect shares to underperform tomorrow as out-year Resort Adj. EBITDA expectations re-base, though we see little in results/commentary impacting ongoing bear/bull debate & MTN's current multiple. Long-term, we still see potential positive multiple mean reversion if new leadership can stabilize lift ticket demand & re-accelerate pass sales via innovation & pricing strategy refinement. Near-term, however, we expect shares to trade relatively range-bound outside of weather-related moves as catalysts for re-rating are limited until more fulsome update in March. Reiterate Buy. We adjust our model to align to guidance; TP to $175."
