Canaccord Genuity analyst Austin Moeller downgraded Bioceres Crop Solutions (NASDAQ: BIOX) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $2.50 (from $6.50).

The analyst comments: "Bioceres Crop Solutions released Q4/25 financial results, reporting revenues and an Adj. EBITDA loss of $74.7M (down ~40% y/y) and $4.5M (down ~123% y/y). Sales and Adj. EBITDA loss were ~32% and ~125% lower than our estimates for the quarter, which were already at the low end of consensus. Bioceres’ results reflected a variety of macro challenges being faced by Ag customers in its core market (Argentina), driven by a tougher y/y compare on strong PY revenues from advance farmer input purchases linked to Argentine peso devaluation dynamics, generally weaker on-farm economics riddled due to lower commodity prices and persistently tight financing for farmers in the region. The lower top line resulted from weaker demand for Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition solutions in Argentina, along with a lower revenue contribution from HB4-related sales as the company moved to a licensing-based business model (having exited its seed production, plant breeding, and seed sales business). Crop Protection/Nutrition was also impacted by the $15.7M in reduced revenues associated with Syngenta’s initial down payment in FY24 (which was non-recurring)."
