Oppenheimer analyst Colin Rusch reiterated a Perform rating on SolarEdge Technologies (NASDAQ: SEDG).
The analyst comments "We hosted SEDG CEO Shuki Nir and Investor Relations Head JB Lowe for investor meetings and a fireside chat at Oppenheimer's 28th Annual Technology Conference. Topics discussed included portfolio evolution, shifts in demand outlook, and margin recovery expectations. The company has stabilized inventory levels in the channel and is now working activity to reduce working capital without taking further price actions. We see the company leveraging R&D efforts into incremental manufacturing efficiency, notably in the US, which is now ~60% of the company's sales. SEDG continues to see particular strength in the C&I market and for its energy storage solutions, noting harmonization of solar & storage performance in dynamic rate environment as critical for customers. The company continues to see volume as a key lever to return to profitability, but believes its balance sheet is more than sufficient to support its growth and reiterated its expectation to be FCF+ in 2025."
