Vertex Inc. (VERX) PT Lowered to $50 at Citizens JMP

Citizens JMP analyst Patrick Walravens lowered the price target on Vertex Inc. (NASDAQ: VERX) to $50.00 (from $61.00) while maintaining a Market Outperform rating.

The analyst commented, "We maintain our Market Outperform rating on Vertex, Inc. but lower our price target to $50 from $61 after it reported disappointing 2Q25 results, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.15 (consensus $0.14) on revenue of $184.6M (consensus $184.6M), up 15% y/y (12% organic), up from 13% last quarter, subscription revenue of $157.8M (consensus $158.9M), up 16% y/y, up from 14% last quarter, ARR of $636.6M (consensus $637.1M), representing growth of 16% y/y (14% organic), down from 18% last quarter, cloud revenue growth of 30% y/ y, flat with last quarter (Citizens estimate 25%), and free cash flow of $19.6M versus the consensus of $34.7M."
