Truist Securities analyst Nicole Germino downgraded Y-mAbs Therapeutics (NASDAQ: YMAB) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $8.60 (from $14.00).
The analyst comments "Following the announced acquisition of Y-mAbs by SERB Pharmaceuticals (SERB, NR), we are downgrading YMAB shares to Hold from Buy and adjust our PT to $8.60 from $14.00. The deal is all-cash for $412M for YMAB's commercial asset Danyelza and pipeline and is expected to close by 4Q25. YMAB will be acquired for $8.60 per share in cash, representing a 105% premium to YMAB closing share price on Aug 4, 2025, the last full trading day prior to the announcement. Recall, YMAB has commercialized Danyelza (anti-GD2), the first FDA approved therapy for r/r high-risk neuroblastoma. Pipeline includes GD2 therapy targeting solid tumors and CD38 therapy in circulating tumors currently in Ph1. Acquisition is expected to complement SERB's existing rare oncology portfolio and allow for opportunity to expand Danyelza into new markets globally."
