TELUS Digital (NYSE: TIXT) announced the opening of its Dubai office in the United Arab Emirates, marking the company's entry into the Middle East market. The Vancouver-based technology company specializes in digital customer experiences and AI-powered solutions.
The Dubai office will serve as a regional hub to provide digital transformation services including strategy consulting, AI-powered automation, and customer experience modernization. Mona Kadouh has been appointed as Managing Director for TELUS Digital Middle East.
"Opening a local office in the Middle East is a natural step in deepening our presence in key growth markets," said Tobias Dengel, President of TELUS Digital Solutions. The company plans to serve sectors including energy, transportation, healthcare, financial services, and retail across the Gulf region.
The expansion comes as Middle Eastern countries increase AI investments. The UAE's AI 2031 strategy aims to establish the country as a global AI leader, supported by government initiatives and infrastructure investments.
TELUS Digital also expanded its global operations with new sites in Cape Town, South Africa, and Ahmedabad, India. The Ahmedabad location is situated in GIFT City, India's first operational smart city and Special Economic Zone.
The company operates across more than 30 countries and offers services including customer experience management, cloud solutions, AI automation, and digital consulting. Its proprietary platform Fuel iX provides tools for managing generative AI across enterprise environments.
