KeyBanc analyst Austin Wurschmidt raised the price target on American Healthcare REIT, Inc (NYSE: AHR) to $40.00 (from $34.00) while maintaining a Overweight rating.
The analyst comments "Following recent meetings with management and 1Q25 earnings, we view AHR as remaining in an attractive position to capitalize on strong long-term care fundamentals within its Integrated Senior Housing Campus and SHOP segments (~70% of NOI). With the summer selling season in senior housing (i.e., ISHC and SHOP) largely underway, and management striking an upbeat tone around the core fundamentals of the business, AHR’s operators appear poised to drive value by utilizing various levers to drive NOI (e.g., pricing power within private pay, senior housing occupancy, Q-mix optimization, and valuebased payments). The Company should also benefit from its improving cost of capital and a growing pipeline of opportunities, which should lead to accretive, external growth investments in its RIDEA portfolio. Combined, we expect these levers to drive further upside to 2025 guidance and consensus estimates, over time. We reiterate our OW rating and are increasing our price target to $40 to reflect an increase to our estimates and the Company’s premium earnings growth in 2025 and 2026."
