Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu raised the price target on Honeywell International (NASDAQ: HON) to $235.00 (from $215.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "Adapting Existing Technology To Meet Unmet Needs. New technologies, like inceptor, which was originally developed for the Orion spacecraft, has been found to have a unique benefit to AAM customers. Specifically, Vertical has recently announced that it will be using the inceptor on its VX4 vehicle. This reflects HON's mission of either developing new technologies that fit an unmet need with customers or adapting existing technology to meet that requirement. HON believes there is significant opportunity to redefine product offerings and merge them together in a way that reduces the cost of integration, creates simplicity, and allows vehicles to be certified / operate more efficiently. The traditional silos of the products provided are going to get merged together in new and unique ways. Honeywell keeps tabs on new and novel applications to assess public reaction, and understand what challenges there may be and where demand is heading. Honeywell is listening to public feedback for indictors of what is preforming well and what could be improved, to better prepare themselves for commercial use of various eVTOL aircraft."
