Wedbush Starts CAMP4 Therapeutics Corp (CAMP) at Outperform

Wedbush analyst Yun Zhong initiated coverage on CAMP4 Therapeutics Corp (NASDAQ: CAMP) at Outperform with a $8.00 price target.

The analyst comments "We see strong potential in CAMP's proprietary RNA-based technology platform to target a wide spectrum of haploinsufficient diseases, where effective treatments are not available and a modest increase in target gene expression can lead to meaningful clinical benefit. Preclinical data from two programs for genetic metabolic and CNS disorders have provided solid proof of mechanism. The weakness in share price since the Oct. '24 IPO with no fundamental changes reflects the significant challenges faced by early-stage biotech companies developing genetic medicines, but emerging clinical data should help to improve investor sentiment."
