Wells Fargo analyst Michael Sison downgraded Hexcel Corp. (NYSE: HXL) from Overweight to Equal Weight with a price target of $55.00 (from $63.00).
The analyst comments "D/G HXL to EW: HXL looks cheap vs its peer group, but we think numbers have to move lower even before the impact of an economic slowdown, as Airbus A350 appears to have been struggling to increase rate (likely not HXL's fault). HXL has among the highest op leverage in our coverage, and profitability could be significantly affected if the aero ramp were to slow. Our PT goes to $55 from $63 based on a 22x multiple on our 26 EPS estimate, near the low end of where suppliers trade on consensus 2025."
