Stifel analyst Bradley Canino reiterated a Buy rating and $9.00 price target on Zentalis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ZNTL).
The analyst commented, “Following disclosure of azenosertib (WEE1i) phase 1b data in Cyclin E1+ PROC patients and alignment with FDA on how phase 2 could potentially support an accelerated approval (our analysis HERE), ZNTL will begin enrollment of dose confirmation 30 patient cohorts (400mg QD 5:2 and 300mg QD 5:2) with a prior treatment cap of 3. Per our discussions with management, enrollment updates from this portion will come at first and last patient enrolled. There will be limited updates on the dosing cohorts as those data could contribute to azeno's NDA submission. The plan remains to roll into a potentially pivotal phase 2 study, for which data remain guided for disclosure by YE26, and enroll a concurrent randomized confirmatory study. With the cash on-hand ($371m), clinical data generated to date including a recent positive update this month on mDoR, and valuation comps for PROC, we continue to see upside optionality for ZNTL.”
