Craig-Hallum analyst Jason Kreyer lowered the price target on Nextdoor Holdings Inc. (NYSE: KIND) to $3.50 (from $4.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: 'The NEXT initiative is becoming a much closer reality with strong signals from six test markets validating a bigger rollout in the coming months. To facilitate that rollout, management is making NT changes to ad loads and monetization in an effort to maximize the impact of NEXT in new markets. This, combined with some changes in advertiser preferences, is creating somewhat of a near-term void in growth until the nationwide rollout of NEXT facilitates a return to growth in 2H25. While the near-term challenges are frustrating, we understand the necessity of optimizing NEXT for long-term success. We remain Buy-rated as the long-term evolution of Nextdoor, and the NEXT initiative, are the key drivers of building a stickier consumer platform."
