Bernstein SocGen Group analyst Zhihan Ma reiterated an Outperform rating and $117.00 price target on Walmart (NYSE: WMT).

The analyst commented: "Conservative FY26 guide provides an opportunity to buy on weakness; WMT reported Q4 2025 earnings this morning with a beat in Q4 but FY26 guidance fell below expectations. WMT continued its strong momentum in Q4, delivering +5.2% constant currency net sales growth and +9.4% EBIT growth, outpacing its long-term algorithm of 4% top line growth and 4-8% EBIT growth. However, FY26 EBIT growth guidance came in well below expectations as WMT guided to 3.5-5.5% EBIT growth (vs. consensus of 9.4%). In addition to some discrete factors (e.g., lapping a leap year and the margin dilution of the VIZIO acquisition), WMT has a track record of guiding conservatively (Exhibit 9 and Exhibit 10), which is prudent especially with tariffs and policy uncertainties. Overall, the conservative guide doesn’t change our constructive view on WMT’s potential to continue to gain share and improve e-commerce unit economics. And a potential pullback in the stock price could provide an opportunity for investors to buy on weakness."
