Velo3D (VLD) Misses Q1 EPS by 3c, provides guidance

Velo3D (NYSE: VLD) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.08), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter came in at $9.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $20.9 million.

GUIDANCE:

Velo3D sees FY2024 revenue of $80-95 million, versus the consensus of $121.3 million.
Sequential quarterly improvement in gross margin with fourth quarter 2024 gross margin of approximately 30%, excluding non-recurring charges related to its cost reduction initiatives
Non-GAAP operating expenses of $40 to $50 million
