Vertex (VERX) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, provides guidance

Vertex (NASDAQ: VERX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.15, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $156.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $154.46 million.

GUIDANCE:

Vertex sees Q2 2024 revenue of $159-162 million, versus the consensus of $160.6 million.
Adjusted EBITDA of $31 million to $33 million.

For the full-year 2024, the Company currently expects:

Revenues of $650 million to $660 million, versus the consensus of $657 million.
Cloud revenue growth of 28%; and
Adjusted EBITDA of $130 million to $135 million.
