Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) declared a quarterly dividend of $2.06 per share, or $8.24 annualized. This is a 7.9% increase from the prior dividend of $1.91. The dividend will be payable on April 11, 2023, to stockholders of record on March 27, 2023, with an ex-dividend date of March 24, 2023. The annual yield on the dividend is 3.6 percent.
Additionally, the Board of Directors has increased our authorization for share repurchases by 2.5 million shares to approximately 3.5 million shares, and we intend to be aggressive in returning capital to shareholders while always focusing on the long-term value of our shares. We will continue to be disciplined stewards of our capital and remain committed to prioritizing investments in our guest and employee experience, high-return capacity expanding capital projects, strategic acquisition opportunities and returning capital to our shareholders through our quarterly dividend and share repurchase programs."
