Quanex (NX) Misses Q1 EPS by 17c; Guides FY23 Revenue Lower

Quanex (NYSE: NX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, $0.17 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $261.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $269.5 million.

GUIDANCE:

Quanex sees FY2023 revenue of $1.12-1.16 billion, versus the consensus of $1.2 billion. Sees approximately $130 million to $142 million in Adjusted EBITDA in fiscal 2023.
