V.F. Corp. (VFC) Misses Q1 EPS by 5c; Lowers Outlook

V.F. Corp. (NYSE: VFC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.09, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.25 billion.

GUIDANCE:

VF is maintaining its currency adjusted FY23 outlook while revising its earnings outlook on a reported dollar basis to reflect ongoing negative impacts from foreign currency fluctuations; we now expect adjusted EPS of $3.05 to $3.15, implying 4% to 7% growth versus the prior year on a constant dollar basis. The consensus is $3.34.
