PPG Industries (PPG) Tops Q1 EPS by 26c; Guides Q2 EPS Below the Street

PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) reported Q1 EPS of $1.37, $0.26 better than the analyst estimate of $1.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.24 billion.

GUIDANCE:

PPG Industries sees Q2 2022 EPS of $1.60-$1.90, versus the consensus of $1.92. Aggregate sales volumes down a low-to-mid-single-digit percentage on a year-over-year basis.
