Trinity Industries (TRN) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c, Revenue Misses Consensus, Offers Guidance

Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.16, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $472 million versus the consensus estimate of $519.95 million.

GUIDANCE:

Trinity Industries sees FY2022 EPS of $0.85-$1.05, versus the consensus of $1.21.

• Industry deliveries of 40,000 to 50,000 railcars
• Net investment in the lease fleet of $450 million to $550 million
• Manufacturing capital expenditures of $35 million to $45 million
• EPS of $0.85 to $1.05
