Cowen analyst John Blackledge reiterated a Market Perform rating and $65.00 price target on eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) after proprietary recurring US survey data showed eBay trending very positively in 2Q through May.
The analyst stated "The results indicate robust purchaser growth of +19% y/y and +9.6% q/q, and those purchasers are buying across more categories and buying more frequently on a y/y and q/q basis. If the trend continues through our June data, there is likely upside to eBay's lackluster 2Q guide and our / consensus est's."
