SkyWest (SKYW) Misses Q1 EPS by 18c

SkyWest (NASDAQ: SKYW) reported Q1 EPS of $0.71, $0.18 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $535 million versus the consensus estimate of $575.76 million.

Commenting on the results, Chip Childs, Chief Executive Officer of SkyWest, said, "We continued to see improvement in the demand for our product during the first quarter.
