Raymond James analyst Bobby Griffin reiterated a Market Perform rating on Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) ahead of the company's 2Q earnings report, scheduled for Wednesday, August 26. Griffin expect the company to report a solid quarter, especially given the recent commentary from other home related peers.
It appears overall home furnishing demand remains strong and potentially even accelerated over the July/August time frame. Earlier this week, La-Z-Boy reported double digit written order growth in July and August. Accordingly, Raymond James has raised F2Q and F3Q comparable sales estimates. F2Q EPS estimate is now $0.95, up from $0.76.
