Bassett Furniture Industries (BSET) Lowers Quarterly Dividend 36% to $0.08; 4.1% Yield

Bassett Furniture Industries (NASDAQ: BSET) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, or $0.32 annualized. This is a 36% decrease from the prior dividend of $0.125.

The dividend will be payable on August 28, 2020, to stockholders of record on August 14, 2020, with an ex-dividend date of August 13, 2020.

The annual yield on the dividend is 4.1 percent.

• The Board also reinstated the dividend of $0.125 per share of outstanding common stock that was previously deferred on March 31, 2020 due to economic and financial disruptions caused by the pandemic. Both dividends are payable on August 28, 2020 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 14, 2020.
