BofA Securities analyst Justin Post reiterated a Buy rating and $140.00 price target on Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ: TTWO) after the company announced that Dan Hauser, Rockstar’s VP
of Creative and key creator of Grand Theft Auto (GTA), will be leaving the company on March 11th.
The analyst stated "The stock fell as much as 7% after hours due to concerns that the departure of a key contributor to the studio could impact timing of future titles – particularly the next GTA. Hauser’s departure also follows an extended leave that began back in Spring 2019 and his absence did not impact the ability of Rockstar to launch great content as the studio set new audience records for both Red Dead Online and GTA Online".
