Microchip Technology (MCHP) Raises Quarterly Dividend 0.1% to $0.3670; 1.4% Yield

Microchip Technology (NASDAQ: MCHP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.3670 per share, or $1.468 annualized. This is a 0.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.3665.

The dividend will be payable on March 6, 2020, to stockholders of record on February 21, 2020, with an ex-dividend date of February 20, 2020.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.4 percent.

“Microchip’s financial performance in the December 2019 quarter was excellent in the backdrop of an uncertain economic environment,” said Steve Sanghi, Chief Executive Officer. “Our Board is pleased to declare an increase in our quarterly dividend to a record 36.70 cents per share, which continues to reflect our ongoing commitment to returning value to our stockholders.”
