Costco (NASDAQ: COST) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.65 per share, or $2.6 annualized. This is a 14% increase from the prior dividend of $0.57.
The dividend will be payable on May 26, 2019, to stockholders of record on May 10, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of May 9, 2019.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.1 percent.
Share Buyback Re-authorization
Board of Directors has reauthorized a common stock repurchase program of up to $4 billion. This program will expire in April 2023 and replaces the current $4 billion program (which expired earlier this month), which had unused authorization of approximately $2.2 billion.
