Brown & Brown (BRO) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, Revenues Beat

Brown & Brown (NYSE: BRO) reported Q1 EPS of $0.41, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $619.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $601.56 million.

J. Powell Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, noted, "We are pleased with the strong start in 2019. These results would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of our nearly ten thousand teammates."
