Lancaster Colony Corp. (LANC) Raises Quarterly Dividend 8.3% to $0.65; 1.7% Yield

Lancaster Colony Corp. (NASDAQ: LANC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.65 per share, or $2.6 annualized. This is an 8.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.60.

The dividend will be payable on March 29, 2019, to stockholders of record on March 8, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of March 7, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.7 percent.

CEO David A. Ciesinski said, "The dividend reflects the company's continued strong financial position and will be the 223rd consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by the company since September 1963." He noted that the indicated annual payout for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 is $2.55 per share, up from the $2.35 per share paid in fiscal 2018.
