Newtek Business Services (NEWT) Lowers Quarterly Dividend 20% to $0.4; 8.2% Yield

Newtek Business Services (NASDAQ: NEWT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.4 per share, or $1.6 annualized. This is a 20% decrease from the prior dividend of $0.5.

The dividend will be payable on March 29, 2019, to stockholders of record on March 15, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of March 14, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 8.2 percent.

Barry Sloane, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We look forward to reporting our full year 2019 financial results in early March. We are quite encouraged by our first quarter 2019 metrics and our increasing pipeline of opportunities, all of which will be discussed during our year-end 2018 earnings conference call.”
