Wendy's (WEN) Raises Quarterly Dividend 17.6% to $0.1; 2.3% Yield

Wendy's (NASDAQ: WEN) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.1 per share, or $0.4 annualized. This is a 17.6% increase from the prior dividend of $0.085.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2019, to stockholders of record on March 1, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of February 28, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.3 percent.

"We are pleased to announce an 18 percent increase in our quarterly dividend," said President and Chief Executive Officer Todd Penegor. "Returning cash to shareholders remains a key priority for us. This is the seventh consecutive year that we have increased our dividend, which is a testament to the strong cash flow generation from our resilient and predictable business model."
