Medical Properties Trust (MPW) Declares $0.25 Quarterly Dividend; 5.5% Yield

Medical Properties Trust (NYSE: MPW) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share, or $1 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on April 11, 2019, to stockholders of record on March 14, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of March 13, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5.5 percent.

“This dividend maintains our very attractive annualized return of 5.4% based on today’s share price,” said Edward K. Aldag, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO. “We intend to continue dividend growth as we complete 2019’s estimated acquisitions of $2.5 billion.”
