GEO Group (GEO) Raises Quarterly Dividend 2.1% to $0.48; 8.5% Yield

GEO Group (NYSE: GEO) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.48 per share, or $1.92 annualized. This is a 2.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.47.
The dividend will be payable on February 22, 2019, to stockholders of record on February 15, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of February 14, 2019.
The annual yield on the dividend is 8.5 percent.
George C. Zoley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GEO, said: “We are pleased to declare a quarterly cash dividend of $0.48 per share, or $1.92 per share annualized, which is indicative of our continued commitment to return value to our shareholders.”
