M.D.C. Holdings (MDC) Declares $.30 Quarterly Dividend, 3.9% Yield; Announces Special 8% Share Dividend

M.D.C. Holdings (NYSE: MDC) declared a quarterly dividend of $.30 per share, or $1.2 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on February 27, 2019, to stockholders of record on February 14, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of February 13, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.9 percent.

Share Dividend

The special 8% stock dividend on the Company's common stock will be distributed on February 28, 2019 to shareholders of record on February 14, 2019, with a brokers' cut-off date of February 21, 2019, and will be in the form of one additional share of MDC common stock for each 12.5 shares owned by shareholders on the record date. Cash will be paid in lieu of fractional shares based on the closing price of MDC's common stock on the record date.
