Oppenheimer analyst, Andrew Uerkwitz, reiterated his Perform rating on shares of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) after the company announced its 6.5" iPhone Xs Max which pushes iPhone pricing to a new high of $1,499.

The analyst stated "Apple continues to test its pricing power with its high-end customers. It pushes iPhone prices to new highs. The 6.5" iPhone Xs Max with 256G and 512G storage will cost $1,249 and $1,499, respectively. Previously, the most expensive model costs $1,149 (iPhone X, 256G). iPhone 7 replaces iPhone SE at the lowest pricing tier of $449".
