Morgan Stanley (MS) Raises Quarterly Dividend 20% to $0.30; Approves $4.7B Buyback

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share, or $1.2 annualized. This is a 20% increase from the prior dividend of $0.25.
The dividend will be payable on August 15, 2018, to stockholders of record on July 31, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of July 30, 2018.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.4 percent.
During the quarter ended June 30, 2018, the Firm repurchased approximately $1.25 billion of its common stock or approximately 24 million shares. The Board of Directors authorized a share repurchase of up to $4.7 billion of common stock beginning in the third quarter of 2018 through the end of the second quarter of 2019.3
