GenVec, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNVC) 45% HIGHER; showed increased survival data from its ongoing Phase II/III Pancreas Cancer Clinical Trial with TNFerade (PACT) in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.

Escala Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ESCL) 31% HIGHER; will restate its previously reported financial statements for its fiscal years ended June 30, 2003; June 30, 2004; June 30, 2005; and for the first three quarters of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006.

Endeavor Acquisition Corp. (AMEX: EDA) 20% HIGHER; is higher this morning after announced a definitive merger agreement to acquire American Apparel Inc., a leading domestic vertically-integrated manufacturer and retailer of cotton fashion basics and the largest T-shirt manufacturer in the United States.

Applied Signal Technology (Nasdaq: APSG) 15% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.05 vs. consensus of $0.22. (may not be comparable) Revenues were $45.38 million vs. $59.58 million consensus.

Circuit City Stores, Inc. (NYSE: CC) 13.8% LOWER; reports a Q3 loss of $0.09 vs. consensus for a profit of $0.07. Revenues were $3.1 billion vs. $3.12 billion consensus. The company now expects the following in fiscal 2007: Sees net sales growth between 8-9%, down from 9-11%, domestic segment comparable store sales growth of 6-7%, down from 7-9% and earnings from continuing operations before income taxes (EBT) as a percentage of consolidated net sales of 1-1.4%, down from 2.0-2.4%

Tuesday Morning Corporation (Nasdaq: TUES) 10% LOWER; lowered their guidance for the year ending December 31, 2006. Total sales for the year ending December 31, 2006 are now expected to be in the range of $905 to $915 million, versus the consensus of $933.02 million. Comparable store sales are expected to be in the range of negative 7.7% to negative 8.7% for the full year of 2006. Diluted earnings per share, based on these sales results, would be approximately $0.78 to $0.84 (with 6-7 cent stock expense), versus the consensus of $1.03.

TOM Online Inc. (Nasdaq: TOMO) 9% HIGHER; The WSJ reports eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) plans to pull back from the Chinese market and shut down its main web site in China. eBay will replace it's current site with a new site run by Tom Online.

Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) 5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.75, 4 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $735.5 million vs. $702.97 million consensus.

Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL) 3.8% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.22, in-line estimates.(0.22). Total revenues were $4.163 milion versus the $4.15 billion consensus. Non-GAAP revenues were $4.216 billion.

Biogen Idec Inc. (NASDAQ: BIIB) 3.3% LOWER; two cases of progressive multifocal peuklencephalopathy (PML) resulting in death, have been reported in patients receiving Rituxan� for treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Rituxan is not approved for the treatment of SLE.

Rohm and Haas Company (NYSE: ROH) 2% LOWER; expects fourth quarter 2006 earnings from continuing operations to be $.75 to $.79 per share, not including restructuring charges. Warmer weather is estimated to have a negative impact on Salt earnings of $0.07 per share for the quarter versus the same period in 2005.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) 2% HIGHER; reports Q4 results. The Company also announces the spin-off of it's Discover unit.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) 1.3% HIGHER; Morgan Stanley upgrades to Overweight
