at Jun 14, 2009 10:29 AM Poor Leadership in Irwindale The whole sales department in Irwindale was let go on May 29th due to the fact that the sales manager was a fool and the general manager did nothing to get ride of this lady. The sales manager was had no respect from any of her sales consultant due to the fact that she lied,had no people skills and she was just stupid. I feel for all the schools in So Cal that will now have to deal with a call center in Waco TX. The call center will have no contact with the warehouse in Irwindale and when problems arise noting will be done. In the words of the warehouse manager " It is what it is" Vendors like Mrs Nelsons and Schawabb are going to pick up all the upset schools. Scholastic has too many toys ( junk) it pushes on it fairs. The company will never buy enough product to support the fairs. Most of the books on fairs is years old product it was stuck with
