Acorda Therapeutics (ACOR) Misses Q4 EPS, Revs Beat

Acorda Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ACOR) reported Q4 EPS of $0.61, $0.44 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $188.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $174.75 million.

2018 Financial Guidance

• AMPYRA net revenue is expected to be $330-$350 million. The Company expects to maintain exclusivity of AMPYRA at least through July 30, 2018; this guidance is subject to change based on the appellate court’s decision.
• R&D expenses for the full year 2018 are expected to be $100-$110 million and include manufacturing expenses associated with INBRIJA. This guidance is a non-GAAP projection that excludes share-based compensation as more fully described below under “Non-GAAPFinancial Measures.”
• SG&A expenses for the full year 2018 are expected to be $170-$180 million. This guidance is a non-GAAP projection that excludes share-based compensation as more fully described below under “Non-GAAP Financial Measures.”
• Year-end cash balance for 2018 is projected to be over $300 million
